Ezio Leoni, also known under the pseudonym of Len Mercer, was an Italian composer, arranger and record producer.
The contributions of Maestro Leoni go from the dawn of Rock in Italy and reach some of the best known European and American artists of the sixties, since, as Artistic Director of Ri-Fi, he is responsible for opening the Italian market for many of them. In the last part of his life, Maestro Leoni is dedicated to the defense of authors' rights, holding various important roles within the Italian Society of Authors and Publishers (SIAE) and UNCLA (National Union of Composers, Authors, Publishers), of who will also be elected Honorary President in 2011.
