Hervé-Pierre Gustave, aka HPG, is a French actor, director and producer of pornographic films.
He also directed and interpreted several non-pornographic films.
Before starting his career as a “hardeur”, HPG drags a lot in the Parisian peep shows of the rue Saint-Denis, where he watches films in the cabins which lead him to discover his vocation. In 1988, he became a stripper in a hall in the Saint-Denis district, playing in shows where he made love on stage.
In 1990, he made his first pornographic film. The same year, he also appeared under the pseudonym Denis Vauthier, which was his only appearance as an actor in a gay film. Subsequently, he quickly made a name for himself in the world of pornographic cinema and chained no less than six hundred films. But it was from 1995 that the career of HPG began to gain momentum, gaining the envied status of recognized "porn star".
