Renzo Tarabusi was an Italian screenwriter, theater, television and film author. Not being able to enroll at the university at 17, he decided, driven by his passion for theater and also supported by his parents, to go to Paris, following the theater company of Odoardo Spadaro, then very famous beyond the Alps, where he remained for more than 6 months . Back in Italy and enrolled in mathematics and physics, he met Giulio Scarnicci, who attended the law school, also from Florence, with whom he began writing the first goliardic revue such as Arte and Arturo. Thus begins a friendship, which soon turns into a solid and fun working partnership that leads them to write Revues, Musical Comedies, Movies, Commercials and even the lyrics of songs such as When a girl in New Orleans and Souvenirs of Italy , with the music of Lelio Luttazzi, the latter proposed in more recent times by Renzo Arbore and Cristian De Sica. The most famous interpreters of their texts were certainly Ugo Tognazzi and Raimondo Vianello, with the television consecration of Un due Tre, the first television Variety in a television at the dawn, but they also wrote for Erminio Macario, Carlo Dapporto and many others.
