Carlo Silva was an appreciated and incredibly prolific writer. Able to write dozens of scripts for the music hall, he was director of humorous necklaces (for Bietti he published, among others, Enrico Vaime, Giorgio Saviane, Dino Buzzati), creator and author of radio and television broadcasts (La Domenica Sportiva, Dribbling). In love with Milan, which he described with the literary gaze of the flâneur in tasty diaries and stories (his also El Tecoppa), Silva boasts a career that, in the field of humorous culture of the twentieth century can be joined, without disfiguring, to that of much more names known as those of Marcello Marchesi, Giovannino Guareschi, Achille Campanile, Vittorio Metz, Umberto Domina, Giovanni Mosca.
