Gianni Bisiach is an Italian journalist, writer, doctor as well as director, radio and television presenter. Become first assistant surgeon of prof. Antonino Musso (pupil of Achille Mario Dogliotti of Turin) and personal anesthesiologist of prof. Raffaele Paolucci di Valmaggiore, director of the Surgical Clinic of the University of Rome. With prof. Luigi Gedda (Institute of Gemellology and President of the Italian Catholic Action) carries out research on painless childbirth for a book by Pope Pius XII. With Giovanni Berlinguer he carries out research on malaria in the Institute of Parasitology of the University of Rome (director prof. Ettore Biocca). In the 1950s, in the monthly magazine Incontri oggi, directed by Lucio Lombardo Radice, he was part of the editorial team together with Luchino Visconti, Carlo Lizzani, Renato Guttuso, Enrico and Giovanni Berlinguer, Ugo Attardi and Renzo Vespignani. In 1969 he made the film The two Kennedy, produced by Angelo Rizzoli and Alfredo Bini and awarded the Spoleto Cinema Award 1970. In 1972 he made a documentary on Pope Paul VI's journey to Asia and Oceania. Also in 1972, Bisiach was called by Roberto Rossellini, president of the Experimental Center of Cinematography, to coordinate the courses and to hold the teaching of Cinematographic and Television Information Techniques for ten years. In 1978 Saddam Hussein, vice president of the Republic of Iraq, invited him to Baghdad for the Anti-imperialist Film Festival, with a delegation formed by Sergio Amidei (screenwriter of the film Rome open city), director Ettore Scola and Gina Lollobrigida; Saddam Hussein accompanies Bisiach to visit the country (Babylon, Basra) and gives him the prize for the film The Two Kennedys. He made numerous reports and investigations for the news and specials of cultural TV programs.
