Francesco Sauta

Francesco Sauta is born in Rome, Italy. Before moving to the United States in 2006, Francesco Sauta was a TV editor (documentaries & news). But he always had a passion for films and photography. His journey into the film industry began as an unpaid intern in the camera department, then as a camera PA, film loader and 2nd AC. When the digital age "took over", he decided to become DIT. Somehow both backgrounds (Editor & AC) turned out to be the perfect combination for him. He did his PhD in communication in Rome. When he moved to Los Angeles, he attended a postgraduate certificate in cinematography and production at UCLA.
