Mario Frera

Mario Frera, stage name of Mario Frescura, was an Italian actor and voice actor. He made his film debut in 1949 in the film Il mulatto. Later he participated in numerous films, always in parts of character, until the late eighties. He starred, among others, alongside Eduardo and Peppino De Filippo, Totò, Sofia Loren, Dustin Hoffman, Ugo Tognazzi, Vittorio Gassman, Alberto Sordi, Ben Gazzarra and Franchi-Ingrassia. He has also been a very active voice actor, for over 30 years, specializing in Neapolitan cadence.
