Renata Cortiglioni

Renata Cortiglioni was an Italian choir master. In 1949 she took over the direction of the Italian radio and television children's choir, which she held for over thirty years, until the state television decided to dissolve it in 1983. Her choir has collaborated with important musical institutions, such as the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, the Umbrian music festival, and with various conductors, singers and composers such as: Nino Rota, Ennio Morricone, Bernardino Molinari, Riccardo Muti, Sergio Endrigo, Johnny Dorelli, Renato Rascel, Rita Pavone, Paolo Bacilieri, recording for various labels, such as RCA, CAM, Decca, CBS.
