George Gavito

Gavito achieved fame for recycling the success of the Mexican investigators in solving the so called Satanic murder of Mark Kilroy whose body was found in Matamoros Mexico in April of 1989. Gavito, who is credited with solving 210 of 211 murders during his illustrious years with the Cameron County Sheriff's Department, is one of Brownsville's most notorious political activists.
