Mateus

Mateus Galiano da Costa, known simply as Mateus, is an Angolan professional footballer who plays for Portuguese club Boavista F.C. as a forward. He spent practically all of his career in Portugal, recording over 270 games and 50 goals in the Primeira Liga. He represented four teams in the division, mainly Nacional and Boavista. Mateus made his debut for Angola in 2006 and earned over 60 caps. He was selected for the 2006 World Cup and four Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.
