Stefan Matousch

Stefan Matousch was an Austrian actor who mainly worked in theaters in Germany and Austria and founded a theater in Berlin. Stefan Matousch studied acting at the Salzburg Mozarteum. Subsequently, he was engaged at the Städtische Bühnen Ulm and at the Theater am Goetheplatz in Bremen. After a one-year trip through the Middle East, he founded the Magic Theater in Berlin. He has been a guest at the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna since 1997, and has been part of the ensemble at the Landestheater Linz since the 1998/99 season. Matousch died in June 2018 at the age of 70 after a long illness. Matousch has two children with the actress and single parent Petra Morzé. Son Simon Morzé has been an actor since the age of nine.
