Klaus Rott

Klaus Rott is an Austrian actor and director. After graduation from the TGM in Vienna, Klaus Rott completed acting training in the Max Reinhardt Seminar, which he completed in 1963, and then went to Germany. In 1968 he returned to Vienna and worked as a director and actor at the Theater der Jugend until 2008. In 2002 Rott received the Silver Medal of Honor from the City of Vienna by Vienna's City Councilor for Culture Andreas Mailath-Pokorny. Klaus Rott is married to spokeswoman and director Angelica Schütz. His brother was the television presenter and culture journalist Wilfried Rott.
