Monika Fischer-Vorauer

Monika Fischer-Vorauer (born: Monika Vorauer) is an Austrian makeup artist. Monika Fischer-Vorauer completed an apprenticeship for hairdressers and wig makers from 1980 to 1983, and then trained as a makeup artist at the Theater in der Josefstadt from 1984 to 1990. In 2010/11 she passed the professional qualification examination. From 1990 to 1994 she worked at the Salzburg Festival, from 1995 to 1999 at the Reichenau Festival. Since 1994 she has worked as a makeup artist for ORF, from 1999 as a freelancer. Monika Fischer-Vorauer is a member of the Academy of Austrian Film and the Association of Film Mask Makers in Austria.
