Enrico Montesano is an Italian actor and director.
The distinctive feature of Enrico Montesano's successful artistic career, which has spanned the last fifty years, is undoubtedly eclecticism, created in the many areas he experimented with equal success, such as radio, television, cinema and theater.
He made his debut in 1966 at the theater with black Humor, and at the cinema in Io non protesto, io amo, with Caterina Caselli by Ferdinando Baldi. From the seventies he also made his debut on television in successful programs, until winning in 1977 the Rose of Montreaux with the variety Quantunque io. The following year he starred in the musical comedy Rugantino.
As a writer, he publishes with Kovalsky "We were born to suffer and we succeeded", in 2011 "A spare alibi" a book born from an idea for a film and "I confess" published by Piemme in 2015.
He also had a brief and fleeting experience in the political field as a city councilor in Rome and the European Parliament, from where he resigned after two years, giving up the MEP pension.
