Leopoldo Trieste
Leopoldo Trieste was an Italian actor, film director and script writer. Launched as an interpreter by Federico Fellini (Lo sceicco bianco of 1952 and I vitelloni of 1953), he directed in turn Città di notte (1958) and Il peccato degli anni verde (1960), to then dedicate himself totally to his career as a character, with frequent appearances in Italian comedies (Divorzio all'italiana of 1961, Sedotta e abbandonata in 1964, Il medico della mutua of 1968, Piso pisello of 1981) but also in large productions such as The Godfather - Part II (1974), Il nome della rosa (1986), Nuovo Cinema Paradiso (1988) and L'uomo delle stelle (1995).
