Luciano Rossi

Luciano Rossi was an Italian actor. After school, Rossi worked in an import / export company, but also attended a theater school. From 1966 he appeared in almost 70 films, initially without mention, but quickly but in a more prominent form; he often played the role of a young, mentally troubled man who can no longer clearly see the line between madness and genius. In addition to these depictions of often sadistic villains, he was also occasionally seen as a sympathetic plotter. Most of his films are Italian westerns and police films. In the mid-1980s, he retired from the acting business and lived, which he always remained unmarried, plagued by major physical and psychological problems and accompanied by his nephew, until his death in his home town of Collepardo. Rossi was also led under the pseudonyms Edward G. Ross and Lou Kamante. In 2007 the book A violent professional: The films of Luciano Rossi was published, which deals with his career and his roles.
