NotesThis DVD is split into two main sections - Eliminations, which showcases all DJ's who made it to the eliminations round and World Final which showcases the DJ's who were successful in passing through the Eliminations round. The Eliminations section begins with a short introduction with Tony Prince, and then begins to showcase the eliminations stage with each DJ performing a 4 minute set (however some DJ's perform a shorter set at around 3 minutes). This section ends with Tony Prince announcing the DJ's who will go through to the World Finals. The World Final section begins again with a short introduction with Tony Prince. Then each DJ has up to 6 minutes to perform their set. This section ends with the results and awards being given out. Via the menu system you can view information about the DJ's along with how the points were awarded to each DJ in the finals. The special feature "Interviews" is a short video about the making of the show. The special feature Other DMC Products is a nearly 10 minute long advert for products from DMC, LG Mobile, Technics and Ortofon. The inlay is double-sided listing all DJ's who appear on the DVD on the outside, with the table of contents on the inside. As with many DMC products this DVD is a limited run, however how many copies produced is unknown. Because of this the DVD does not state a BBFC classification (not even that this would be potentially be Exempt from classification) and due to this fact this DVD cannot be sold in normal high-street stores in the UK. The DVD cover also does not follow the then very popular VPRC layout rules which define rules for clearly listing the regions of the DVD, run-time, audio language, video aspect ratio and audio technology used. Using free DVD playback software the audio is detected as stereo 2-Channel LPCM, however the sleeve refers to the DVD using DAT Sound Processing. The majority of the DVD plays in a 4:3 aspect ratio however the Other DMC Products special feature plays in a 16:9 ratio. There is also mention on the back of the DVD that it uses "NTS Colour System", this is likely a mis-spelling of NTSC (the popular colour encoding system used widely across the Americas, South Korea, Taiwan and Japan); however this seems oddly inappropriate as the DVD is sold, manufactured and produced by the UK company DMC Limited who would be expected to use the PAL encoding format. Lastly the DVD shows the MTV Base channel logo on the rear, who at the end of the special feature "Interviews" states that they are responsible for the video production and possibly filming of this event however the DVD is not produced by MTV parent company Viacom or released under the MTV brand.
