This release was sold exclusively at WALMART retail stores and through their online site. A companion release, "The Best of Vegeta," was released at the same time, also a WALMART exclusive.
The following Dragon Ball Z episodes are featured (in the following order): 103, 280, 31, 67, 179, 230, and 245. The episode titles listed are the English episode titles.
These episodes have been altered from their original aspect ratio of 1.33:1 (full frame) to 16:9 (anamorphic widescreen) and all have been reversioned (localized) by FUNimation - no longer including their original Japanese opening and closing credits. The replaced English end credits focus on the dub voice cast and production roles, while the opening credits are simply gone. The new English episode titles are radically different from the originals and the original Japanese title cards have been replaced with FUNimation's English title cards. |
