| Notes | The Yamaha TF1 is not a standalone synthesizer, but rather a plug-in module that can be used in the Yamaha TX216 and TX816. Each TF1 represents a full DX7 synthesizer with 16 notes of polyphony, so the number of notes available to a TX chassis is the number of modules times 16 (up to 128). Like the DX7, the TF1 uses 6-operator FM synthesis with 32 available algorithms. It uses a standard CR2032 3v lithium battery to maintain its patch memories. |
