Arnold Schönberg
Arnold Schönberg (or Arnold Schoenberg) was one of the most influential composers and music theorists of the 20th century. As the leading figure of the so-called "Second Viennese School" he developed his own widely adopted twelve-tone technique (Dodecaphony) in order to help overcome the traditional western major/minor tonality.
