Gillian Amery

Gillian Amery, an Australian journalist, is a fictional character, created by Heather Gardiner. She appeared in two crime novels: Money on Murder (1951) Murder in Haste (1954) A planned third novel did not materialize due to the author's early death. The character, played by Karin Dor, was renamed to Gilly Powell in the 1965 movie "Hotel der toten Gäste", a German-Spanish co-production, loosely based on "Money on Murder".
