American publisher based in Nashville, Tennessee. Originally based in New York and called Thomas Nelson, Inc., it moved to Camden, NJ in the 1960s and Nashville in the 1970s. It was whilst in Nashville it started the, mainly Christian, imprint Thomas Nelson Publishers. The name Thomas Nelson Inc., Publishers first appears in the 1970s, it is unclear if it is a separate entity of Thomas Nelson, Inc. or merely a name variation that needs removing.
