Alberto Capatti

A historian of Italian gastronomy, he was born in 1944 and was the first rector of the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo. For many years he has been involved in the history of food and gastronomy. He directed the monthly La Gola and the Slow Food magazine, is part of the scientific committee of CasArtusi and is a member of the steering committee of the Institut Européen d'Histoire de l'Alimentation.
