Terry Crowley

Linguist specializing in Oceanic languages as well as Bislama, the English-lexified Creole recognized as a national language in Vanuatu. At the time of his death, Crowley was Professor of Linguistics at the University of Waikato in New Zealand, having previously taught linguistics at the University of the South Pacific and the University of Papua New Guinea.
