Boris Vian
French polymath: writer, poet, musician, singer, translator, critic, actor, inventor and engineer. He invented the imaginary American writer Vernon Sullivan, who in the first editions claimed he was the translator of Vernon Sullivan's novels, when in fact he was the author.
