Progress Publishers
Progress Publishers was founded in 1931 in Moscow. It has printed a wide variety of literature on a number of different subjects. However, it is most well known for its English-language translations of works by Marx, Engels, Lenin and Soviet social scientists. It is related to two Russian-language publishers: Progress-Tradicia, which publishes some scientific and educational literature; and Progress-Pleiada which publishes small volumes of classic and more-or-less-modern Russian writers and poets.
