Ricotta di Bufala Campana D.O.P.

The buffalo ricotta from Campania is a fresh dairy product obtained by coagulating the buffalo milk whey and produced in some provinces (in part or in whole) of the Campania, Lazio, Puglia and Molise regions. Since July 2010, at European level, the Ricotta di Bufala Campana denomination has been recognized as a protected designation of origin (PDO).
