NotesHardcover book in a maroon slipcase. Limited and numbered edition of 1500 copies, signed by the illustrator Teje Etchemendy. From a note including the printing details: Composition and printing were done [ ... ] using a white smooth antique-finish stock made specially for this edition by the Curtis Paper Mill, Newark, Delaware. The color plates were made by Rainbows, Inc., in Hazardville, Connecticut, and printed at the Holyoke (Massachusetts) Lithograph Company. The page size is 7¾" x 10⅜", and there are 252 pages. The binding is a dark red linen; a broad vertical band of imported linen—woven in a peasant-inspired pattern of red, white, and maroon—is sunk into the front cover. The title label on the shelfback is stamped in pure gold leaf.
