Pierre Boulle

Pierre Boulle was a French novelist best known for two works, Le Pont de la rivière Kwaï (1952) (English: The Bridge over the River Kwai) and La planète des singes (1963) (English: Planet of the Apes, or Monkey Planet), that were both made into award-winning films.
