Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina
Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina (c. 1525, in Palestrina – 2 February 1594, in Rome) was an Italian composer of the Franco-Flemish School whose work is commonly regarded as the epitome of European Renaissance polyphony.
