Adult Contemporary Singles

A Record Research series based on the research of Billboard magazine's Top Easy Listening (later Adult Contemporary) singles chart. The chart was first published in Billboard on July 17, 1961 and continues to this day. Billboard spun off another chart, Adult Top 40 (later Adult Pop Songs); its research was featured for the first time in the 3rd edition.
