Multinational publisher, founded in 1836 by George Routledge in England. It specialises in providing academic books, journals, and online resources in the fields of humanities and social science. In 1998, Routledge became a subdivision and imprint of its former rival, Taylor & Francis Group (T&F), as a result of a £90 million acquisition deal.
